AI-Generated Content & The Music Industry
The media has recently amplified Generative AI developments. The impact of this technology on music creators and rights holders could be significant. It is imperative the industry identifies the key issues associated with source training data, music creation, and copyright treatment and then addresses with policies that treat creators and songwriters fairly. These topics and more will be discussed by the leaders of two organizations deeply involved in music industry policy, Danielle Aguirre, EVP & General Counsel of the National Music Publishers Association (NMPA) and Michele Ballantyne, Chief Operating Officer of the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

This panel is part of Music In Virtual Spaces
